Making India's Digital Spaces Safer Since 2010

Avanzo Charitable Trust is a non-profit working across four pillars — awareness, legal aid, emotional support, and technical help — to protect individuals and communities from cyber threats.

Our Story

How Avanzo Started

In 2010, [FOUNDER NAME(S)] registered Avanzo Charitable Trust in Thrissur, Kerala. [WHAT TRIGGERED IT — a specific incident? A gap noticed while working in cybersecurity? A personal experience?]. At the time, cyber safety awareness programs for schools barely existed in India — and the few that did rarely reached smaller towns outside metro cities.

The first program was [DESCRIBE FIRST PROGRAM — where was it held? How many attended? What was the response?]. From that starting point, Avanzo built a curriculum-based Cyber Awareness Programme (CAP) designed for students from Std 1 through 12, and expanded into sessions for teachers, parents, working professionals, and community groups.

Over 15 years, what began as [SMALL DESCRIPTION — "a weekend workshop" / "a volunteer effort" / etc.] has grown into a structured operation handling 200+ calls per week through a dedicated helpline, resolving over 3,000 cyber crime cases, and delivering 600+ workshops across Kerala and beyond. In [YEAR], Avanzo launched its legal aid and cyber rehabilitation services to support victims who needed help beyond awareness.
